This position is for a highly motivated and energetic Research Lab Technician in a lab within the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics. The lab is devoted to the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the development of necrotizing enterocolitis ( NEC ), which affects premature infants. This position assists with the technical aspects of studies including performing experiments, handling mice, utilizing human samples, as well as documentation and preparation of materials for study and analysis. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with an occasional need for evening or weekend work
