About The Position
The selected candidate will be an integral member of our research team, primarily responsible for developing and running computational programs related to high-throughput genomics. Knowledge of basic molecular biology concepts and some bioinformatics experience is preferred. The opportunity exists for co-author on several scientific publications. Successful candidates will provide assistance to the structural biology and genomics work in the Physiological Sciences Department, College of Veterinary of Medicine at OSU.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or genomics or related field (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of basic molecular biology concepts
- Some bioinformatics experience
- Master's degree (M.Sci.) in microbiology
Responsibilities
- Developing and running computational programs related to high-throughput genomics
- Provide assistance to the structural biology and genomics work in the Physiological Sciences Department, College of Veterinary of Medicine at OSU
