About The Position
The Biodesign Center for Health through Microbiomes is looking to hire a Research Technician. This person will help assist our study coordinators for autism-related studies, including clinical trials. This involves checking participant forms for completeness and progress, preparing biosample collection kits, shipping biosample kits, and sending reminders to participants. Also assisting with data entry and data analysis as it relates to the autism studies. This position is expected to end August 16, 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and two-years (2) experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Performs intermediate to complex technical support, general lab maintenance, and lab operational support with some degree of independence to aid in research projects.
- Responsible for following lab safety standards.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and using Excel for data analysis
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
