About The Position
This position is focused on developing a method for detecting floods using the Surface Water and Ocean Topography ( SWOT ) satellite mission. The successful candidate will write custom software to identify floods in the SWOT raster data product using python and/or R. They will work with a team of postdoctoral researchers and graduate students to test this software and write a research paper on the topic suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
