About The Position

Our research goal is to integrate knowledge of human dendritic cell biology, a critical component of the mammalian immune system, to develop novel effective immunotherapy approaches that harness dendritic cell properties to fight cancer and autoimmune diseases. Position assists with the technical aspects of studies and experiments including documentation and preparation of materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with research studies, experiments and assays including collection of specimens, tissue processing, cell suspension and separation, banking documentation and experimental set-up.
  • Performs data entry and maintains data files on research.
  • Coordinates tissue cultures, reagents, probe tests etc.
  • Assures compliance with established safety procedures and maintains required documentation on laboratory and specimen conditions.
  • Ensures lab conditions and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assists with general lab maintenance and cleaning.
