The Research Technical Assistant will explore the molecular and metabolic mechanisms underlying replicative aging in budding yeast. Working under direct supervision, this role utilizes cutting-edge tools including 3D-printed mini-chemostat aging devices, flow cytometry, and timelapse fluorescence microscopy. This is an entry-level position ideal for a recent graduate eager to gain hands-on research experience. Prior exposure to 3D printing, yeast culture, or flow cytometry is a plus. This at-will position is wholly or partially funded by contractual grant funding, which is renewed under provisions set by the grantor of the contract. Employment will be contingent upon the continued receipt of these grant funds and satisfactory job performance.
