About The Position

The Research Support Associate will support the Anderson Lab at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. The lab studies nucleic acid-mediated in vivo and ex vivo genetic engineering using nucleic acids and CRISPR/Cas9. The associate will provide basic technical support for experimental studies in cultured cells and small rodents to understand nucleic acid delivery. The role includes preparing for and conducting basic laboratory experiments, performing standard lab techniques, and supporting laboratory and research projects or protocols. Additional duties may include literature searches; maintaining and preparing laboratory samples, stocks, supplies, equipment, and reagents; entering data and generating standardized reports using Excel and/or Word; maintaining detailed experiment records; and performing other duties as needed. This is a one-year, term-limited position with the possibility of an extension.
