About The Position
The Roots and Tuber Crops Lab (RTC-Lab), led by Luis Duque (PI) of the Department of Plant Science, seeks to hire Penn State student(s) for part-time research positions. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for maintaining experiments, and collecting relevant experimental data in both greenhouse and field settings related to potato development and production under heat stress scenarios. This role is part of a project funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture - Specialty Crop Block Grant, focusing on 'Heatproofing and resilience for potatoes in Pennsylvania'.
Requirements
- Must be a current Penn State student.
- Ability to work 20 hours per week.
- Willingness to work in greenhouse and field environments.
- Ability to collect and record experimental data accurately.
