About The Position

The Eberly College of Science - Physics - Shao Group is hiring students for a summer research position. The student will design and assembly multi-pin sample holders for testing and amplifying small opto-electronic signals. The student will use CAD software for the design part of the project and build BNC breakout boxes to test the basic electrical performance of the sample holder.

Requirements

• Must be a current Penn State student.
• Familiarity with CAD software.
• Ability to build BNC breakout boxes.
