About The Position

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a part-time Research Support Assistant III position. This role involves working in a grant-funded behavioral pharmacology cannabis research laboratory. The primary responsibility is observing and recording research participants' activities in a residential cannabis laboratory. A one-year commitment is required, and the position starts immediately. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, good judgment, and the capacity to work independently. The hours are flexible, including evenings, overnights, and weekends, with occasional weekday hours, averaging approximately 20 hours per week, which may vary based on study enrollment. Requirements

A minimum of (2) years college experience, or an associate's degree required.
Taken courses regarding psychiatric and human subject's research.
Willingness to work evening and night shifts.
Availability to complete required training.

Nice To Haves

At least (1) year of experience with Microsoft Suite and REDCap
Experience with human subjects research environments.
Experience working night and/or 3rd shift.
Interest in novel psychopharmacology, psychology, and psychiatric studies.
