Functioning independently and under the direction of the principal investigator, performs high-level, complex scientific research experiments. On a regular basis, contributes to scientific literature, reports, journals, and presentations, and investigates, creates, and develops new methods and technologies for research advancement. The Seminara Lab is looking for exceptional candidates with formal Bioinformatics training and work experience to join an interdisciplinary team working in Reproductive Biology, with a particular focus on integration of large datasets including genomic scale next-generation sequencing data, single cell RNAseq, ATACseq, multiomics, and epigenetics applied to basic, translational, and clinical research. The lab is a vibrant research environment comprising experimental and clinical groups that have access to large repositories of patient samples, data sets, and laboratory-based collaborators. The candidate will work on the analysis of multiple datasets generated in the context of multiple clinically oriented genomics projects with the goal of advancing precision medicine for reproductive conditions. Ideally, the candidate will be able to integrate genomic data sets with electronic health record data for ongoing research initiatives in genetics and reproductive health.
