The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is hiring a Research Services Laboratory Entry Professional to support an active program of human deep brain stimulation (DBS) and intracranial electrophysiology research. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate planning to pursue graduate study or a clinical research career in neuroscience, neurology, neurosurgery, biomedical engineering, or a related field. The position offers direct exposure to intraoperative neural recordings, advanced neuromodulation studies in collaboration with industry partners, and the day-to-day operations of a clinically integrated research program. The Research Services Laboratory Entry Professional will work closely with the Principal Investigator, neurosurgery and neurology clinical teams, and laboratory staff to coordinate participant visits, support intraoperative and outpatient data collection, manage regulatory documentation, and assist with analysis of neural recordings in MATLAB. The position is well suited to a candidate with prior clinical research exposure who wants to develop deeper technical skills in human neurophysiology.
