About The Position

The B4 Health Lab is seeking dedicated researchers to join their full-time team. This role focuses on the interconnectedness of the Brain, Body, Biome, and Behavior to improve physical and mental health. It is an active, hands-on position involving multiple aspects of human subjects clinical research across various studies, suitable for individuals who excel in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This is not a wet lab or bench science position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status (required due to funding restrictions)
  • At least one (1) year of human clinical research administration experience, including familiarity with research methods, protocols, data collection, and analysis (for Intermediate Level)
  • At least two (2) years of human clinical research administration experience, including familiarity with research methods, protocols, data collection, and analysis (for Senior Level)

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of research administration experience, including fundamental knowledge of research methods, protocols, data collection, and analysis (for Entry Level)
  • Master’s degree in science or health related field (for Intermediate and Senior Levels)
  • Two (2) years of research administration experience, including skilled knowledge of research methods, protocols, data collection, and analysis (for Intermediate Level)
  • Four (4) years of research administration experience, including advanced knowledge of research methods, protocols, data collection, and analysis (for Senior Level)
  • Experience in REDCap surveys and data entry
  • Strong working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, Institutional Review Board, Veterans Administration, and Food and Drug Administration regulations
  • Proficient experience in REDCap surveys and data entry (for Senior Level)
  • Related professional experience as manager, supervisor, work leader, staff authority or project/program administrator (for Senior Level)
  • Can juggle multiple projects without losing your attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with participants, clinical staff, and research teams alike
  • Take personal accountability seriously and enjoy working with a high degree of independence in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Coordinator on multiple human subject research studies, mastering protocols and study documents and ensuring every procedure meets regulatory standards
  • Drive participant recruitment — from pre-screening and phone contacts to in-person interviews and eligibility confirmation
  • Guide participants through the informed consent process and coordinate all scheduling logistics, including clinical resources such as nursing, laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy
  • Collect, code, and analyze study data with precision, maintaining records in compliance with FDA requirements, IRB standards, and applicable SOPs
  • Contribute to process improvement by supporting the development of SOPs and quality assurance initiatives that make the whole team better
  • Perform data entry and quality reviews in REDCap and Excel
