About The Position

Research Technician to work under guidance from the Principal Investigator (PI) to develop and implement image analysis algorithms; assists with application of image analysis tools to microscopy images; write progress reports and summarizes results; performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience required
• 4 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with High School diploma or GED
• 2 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with Associate's Degree
• 0 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics required with Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge to research required

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in computational image analysis and spatial statistics preferred
• Experience with high resolution microscopy methods, especially confocal microscopy

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement image analysis algorithms
