About The Position

Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Scientist. The scientist will design, develop, and implement in vitro experiments to evaluate improvements in wound healing outcomes. Requirements

  • Master’s degree strong background in in vitro cell-based studies, experimental design, data analysis, and the application of advanced laboratory techniques to support successful project execution and achievement of research deliverables
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
  • Successful background check

Responsibilities

  • Acts as team leader, providing project management direction
  • Contributor in developing and documenting research findings and collaborator in writing scientific papers
  • Writing documentation, technical papers, progress reports and participating in meetings/committees
  • Lead research efforts within main goals of project and help coordinate interactions with other team members and universities
  • Propose and lead independent research goals within scope of projects
  • Performs related duties as assigned
