Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to an interdisciplinary project focused on designing microfabricated biomedical sensors and their associated readout circuitry. The project aims to detect cancer biomarkers from urine samples using advancements in synthetic biology. The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for sensor design, microfabrication processes, backend readout circuitry, and system-level packaging. They will also collaborate with other researchers and industry members to integrate the sensor with microfluidic systems and apply surface chemistry for overall system integration. A key responsibility will be performing benchtop testing to benchmark system performance.
