About The Position

Lead and invent new technology and ingredients with functional and sensorial benefits for the personal care market and Household Industrial & Institution market. This includes areas such as emulsifiers, film formers, rheology modifiers, and moisturizers. The role involves independently performing research across multiple projects concurrently, based on business and customer needs. It also requires proposing and executing in-vivo and in-vitro test methods to develop structure-performance relationships and generate data to support application and benefiting claims of new functional ingredients. Collaboration with Product Application Chemists is key for creating unique prototypes of trending concepts to demonstrate the benefits of these new ingredients.

Requirements

Ph.D. degree in chemistry or a related field.
Strong knowledge in colloidal science, green chemistry, or polymer science.
Track record in innovation, creativity, and independent thinking.
Strong writing and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams that include Formulation, Production, Marketing, Sales, and Quality Control.

Nice To Haves

Post Doctoral or Industrial experience.
Knowledge of market and consumer insights, sensory & instrumental protocols for the personal care and beauty market.
