About The Position

This is an OPS research scientist position that supports a research scientist position focused on wastewater treatment technologies. The anticipated employment period is from May 2026, through December 31st, 2026. Requirements

  • Proficient in essential fate and transport and hydrologic modeling techniques.
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering.
  • This position requires a criminal background check, which will include a Level II screening as required by Florida Statutes §435.04.
  • This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews on wastewater treatment technologies.
  • Investigate machine learning enhanced modeling tools for biosolids recycling strategies.
  • Conduct modeling research related to industrial wastewater treatment technologies.
