  • Experience with advanced techniques such as high-content imaging or molecular biology (e.g., qPCR, western blotting, ELISA).
  • Experience with FLIPR (Fluorescence Imaging Plate Reader) assays to measure intracellular calcium flux, membrane potential, and ion channel activity.
  • Ability to mentor junior trainees

Responsibilities

  • Independently design and execute cell-based assays for drug discovery projects, including both genetic and small molecule screening in various high throughput formats.
  • Culture and maintain diverse cell lines and primary cells with a high degree of precision.
  • Collaborate, coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to advance therapeutic projects and ensure that research plans, timelines, and deliverables are met.
  • Analyze, interpret, explain and present experimental data, research plans and results to both internal teams and external collaborators.
