About The Position
Biochar Research and Innovation Laboratory is seeking applications for a research scientist, who will primarily assist the required tasks associated with a newly funded FDEP project on Quick Reef demonstration for nutrient removal from Indian River Lagoon.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or relevant field.
- Prior experience on quality assurance project plan development.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience required in area of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop Quality Assurance Project Plan
- Develop permitting paperwork
- Perform analysis at the NELAP labs
- Advise students, develop reports, and disseminate results to the public and management
