CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR

This position will support multiple retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) research projects.
Requirements
- Completion of an Associate's degree.
- Minimum of two years of relevant research experience.
- Can easily use computing software and web based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office products and internet browsers).
Nice To Haves
- Completion of the DOCR North Carolina state approved Clinical Research Apprenticeship program may substitute for one year of required experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform data collection and data entry for ROP research projects.
- Manage study databases for ROP research projects.
- Support and perform data analysis for ROP research projects with the support of a statistician.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of pediatric ophthalmologists, retina specialists, neonatologists, ophthalmic imagers, and statisticians in support of research studies on ROP.
- Participate in weekly lab meetings with the larger ROP research team.
- Prepare, summarize and present study findings at research lab meetings.
- Prepare abstracts and presentations for scientific meetings.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication.
