About The Position

Join our Thoracic Surgery team as a Research Project Associate! This position offers the opportunity to be part of meaningful, high-impact work where precision, compassion, and collaboration come together. Clinical research staff ensure that research is conducted ethically, efficiently, and with the patient at the center, supporting innovations that shape the future of medicine. Collaborate directly with the Co-Director of the Lung Cancer Screening Program on various prospective and retrospective research projects. Assist with the implementation of the Lung Cancer Screening Program’s vision and goals. Responsible for ensuring the highest data quality, operations management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, data management, and strategic planning. In compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements, lead all efforts to maintain proper regulatory compliance of the open studies in the service research portfolio.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Clinical Research/Project Management.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations pertaining to human subject protection.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving to ensure unforeseen issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels in a confident, professional manner.
  • Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's vision, mission, and values.

Responsibilities
