About The Position

The Schaeffer Institute is seeking a Research Program Specialist, who will work closely with Professor Genevieve Kanter to plan and manage research program goals. The Research Program Specialist will also assist in the program development and ensuring that deadlines/milestones are met. This position is 100% FTE.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Related experience with specialized research and/or programs (e.g., counseling, teaching).
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data, and present findings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, able to problem solve and lead conflict resolutions.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies/analyses/trends.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating administrative functions for the research program, including acting as a point of contact, responding to requests and inquiries, and managing program content.
  • Assisting program leadership and key stakeholders with analysis, research, and presentations.
  • Managing program deadlines; coordinating and tracking grants, projects, and timelines to ensure deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Supporting reporting and proposal development, including budget tracking, grant submissions, and compliance processes.
  • Coordinating and contributing to research studies, proposals, and grant-related research activities.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners while supporting dissemination of findings and program updates.
  • Contributing to written outputs such as reports, blogs, and publications.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Benefits

  • The hourly rate range for this position is $40.95 to $46.28
