Department: CPH | HBHE Lovelady Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: UAMS Project Heal is seeking a full-time (100%) Research Program Manager with intervention research and program coordination experience to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple research and service projects related to community violence prevention among Arkansas populations disproportionately impacted by gun violence. The Research Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day aspects of studies including scheduling and facilitating team meetings; monitoring study activities; developing standard operating procedures and process improvement strategies, preparing study documents and training; overseeing recruitment activities and data collection; ensuring quality and integrity of data; maintaining project logs and records in coordination with project staff (including keeping track of, monitoring, entering, and summarizing program data in REDCap and other databases); managing project timelines; managing regulatory compliance and reports; serving as a liaison between UAMS and community partners; and assisting the investigator team on all aspects of the study including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination. This position will supervise and manage the workflow of Project Heal staff across multiple projects, which will include being responsible for coordinating communications, and overseeing the development and training of staff. This position will work with the staff to provide monthly standard reports on study progress and develop preliminary reports of the study data. The Research Program Manager will help develop intervention objectives, and oversee the implementation of the intervention, process tracking and evaluation, intervention fidelity, close-out, and written, oral, and digital dissemination of the final products and sponsor deliverables, Experience with violence intervention-related projects as well as prior experience working with populations impacted by community violence are required.
