About The Position
The Research Program Coordinator II (Novice) position in the Department of Health Sciences and Research within MUSC’s College of Health Professions coordinates day-to-day operations for multiple clinical and translational research studies focused on neurological rehabilitation, participant-centered interventions, and community-engaged research. The coordinator develops operational systems across studies and provides guidance to other research staff. Working with principal investigators, research staff, collaborators, community partners, and study participants, the coordinator supports all aspects of study implementation. The ideal candidate is organized and self-directed, communicates effectively in writing and verbally, works effectively in remote and in-person environments, and can learn new technologies and research methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of relevant program experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in remote and in-person environments.
- Ability to learn new technologies and research methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of multiple clinical and translational research studies.
- Develop operational systems across multiple studies.
- Provide guidance to other research staff.
- Support study implementation in collaboration with principal investigators, research staff, collaborators, community partners, and study participants.
- Recruit and retain participants.
- Conduct informed consent procedures.
- Coordinate study visits.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and manage databases.
- Collect data and perform quality assurance.
- Track projects and prepare research reports.
