About The Position

The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented individual to serve as the Cellular and Molecular Arrhythmia Research Program (CMARP) Research Operations Coordinator. The CMARP Research Operations Coordinator will support multiple research laboratories and world-renowned investigators. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the operational backbone of our research enterprise – coordinating laboratory operations, purchasing, equipment management, regulatory compliance, student employee supervision, and administrative support that keeps innovative research moving forward. Previous wet lab experience

Responsibilities

Identifies program, needs, contributes to the development of unit workflows, schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, events, and interviews
May supervise the day to day activities of one or more academic programs and resolves issues exercising discretion to meet unit goals.
Coordinates program components and evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
Utilizes independent judgement regarding development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation for one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events
