About The Position

This role is for a Research Officer to support the Parenting and Youth Mental Health Research Group and contribute to the delivery of the Partners in Parenting program. The position involves supporting a range of research activities such as trial coordination, participant recruitment, data collection and monitoring, database management, web testing, scheduling, and research administration. The role operates within established protocols and timeframes, contributing to high-quality research outcomes in a collaborative environment. It also involves supporting data analysis, literature reviews, reporting, and communication with research participants and project partners. The Research Officer is crucial for maintaining efficient research processes and supporting the daily operations of the research program, while fostering a positive and team-oriented atmosphere. The university is seeking individuals with a degree in Psychology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience and training in psychological or mental health research. Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, participatory research approaches, and research involving parents, children, or adolescents is highly regarded, as is experience supporting web-based systems or online interventions. Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training in psychological or mental health research.
