About The Position

You will be the Research Librarian (Level 2) for the Library Services Team. Our team is responsible for providing reference and research information services, promoting library resources, and supporting collection development. As the Research Librarian (Level 2) you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely research support to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science.
Knowledge and experience with these typical library services: customer interaction, reference assistance, resource selection, material acquisition, circulation of resources, cataloging of materials, collection maintenance, and document delivery.
Ability to communicate and interact professionally with employees at various organizational levels and professions.
Experience working in a library.
Strong customer orientation.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience conducting in-depth research using online databases, technical/scientific literature, business information.
Knowledge of government agencies, industry standards, AI tools.
Detail-oriented, self-starter.

Responsibilities

Provide reference and research services using online databases, periodicals, corporate materials, and government documents.
Analyze, organize, package, and present research results in clear, actionable formats.
Promote library services through presentations, training sessions, and targeted marketing campaigns.
Assist with circulation, collection development, and ongoing maintenance of library resources.
