About The Position
This position requires advanced knowledge and skills in molecular and cell biology techniques, animal dissection and sample preparation, Next Generation Sequencing, auditory and vestibular function tests, and microscopy.
Requirements
- Molecular and cell biology techniques: DNA extraction, genotyping, immunohistochemistry, western blot, RNAscope.
- Animal dissection and sample preparation: inner ear dissection, cochleae/utricle dissociation, cell collection by FACS or glass pipette suction technique, cryosection.
- Next Generation Sequencing: library prep for RNAseq, ATACseq and Cut&Run.
- Auditory and Vestibular function tests: ABR, DPOAE, VsEP.
- Microscopy: confocal and SEM.
