The Musolino Laboratory at the Center for Genomic Medicine, in collaboration with Dr. Lindsay’s laboratory of the Cardiology Department at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic candidate to join their translational neuroscience laboratory. This lab focuses on developing gene-targeted therapies for inherited cerebrovascular disorders that lead to stroke and leukodystrophy. This is a full-time position requiring a committed individual with prior experience working with rodents, ideal for a candidate seeking a stable position in a well-funded lab. The research technician will execute experimental procedures as defined in research meetings with supervision from research scientists and principal investigators. This role carries out a broad range of technically advanced research activities and procedures, with considerable latitude to modify or devise methods and techniques as necessary to achieve desired results. Typically, this role supervises technical and sometimes administrative elements of the research unit.
