The Neuroscience Statistics Research Lab, led by Prof. Emery Brown and the Yen Lab headed by Dr. Yi-Fen Yen based at the MGB Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging in Charlestown, seek a highly motivated Research Tech with an interest in translational neuroscience and anesthesia research. This position focuses on improving outcomes following anesthesia using EEG-based approaches in rodent models within MRI environments. This is an ideal role for candidates seeking immersive experience before pursuing graduate or medical training. Responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, organizing and preparing samples, conducting experiments, and recording and analyzing data. Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a grace period of six months from their hire date (up to 1 year if starting per diem) to provide degree equivalency verification.
