About The Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position for current UND students. The role involves the care of hatchling and juvenile snapping turtles and general laboratory cleaning and maintenance. Only UND students are eligible to be hired.

Requirements

• Must be a current UND student and enrolled at UND for the Fall 2026 semester.
• Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of Student Finance
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Care of hatchling and juvenile snapping turtles (on a rotating basis among members of the laboratory)
• General laboratory cleaning and maintenance
