Research Lab Assistant - Biology

About The Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position. The purpose of this role is to assist with various research tasks in a biology lab setting.
Requirements
- Basic background in biology (at least Introductory Biology classes)
- Detail-oriented
- Motivated to learn new research skills
- Ability to work independently upon initial training
- Major in Biology
- Availability to work 8-10 hours/week
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with DNA work/PCR is preferable but not required.
- Art skills are a plus, to prepare scientific illustrations.
