As a Research Intern, you will support the mission of the College of Veterinary Medicine by identifying and defining research problems, designing hypotheses and methodology to be used in the experiment, designing specific phases of research projects, analyzing research results, developing conclusions and hypotheses, and presenting research results in publishable form both in writing and in scientific meetings. The primary focus of research for this role will be in the area of addiction on drugs of abuse and the impact on society. You will be driving an addiction research agenda, as well as assisting with other projects in the laboratory as needed. Additionally, you will be assisting day-to-day research functions as well as leading students.
