Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field (or currently enrolled in a Master’s program in a related discipline)
  • Prior experience with programming and data analysis, which may include coursework, academic projects, or research experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and testing machine learning approaches, including methods using large language models and neural networks
  • Perform data preprocessing, basic analysis, and statistical evaluation using standard data science techniques
  • Support development of a web-based user interface for research tools, including coordination with institutional IT for deployment and hosting
  • Contribute to evaluation of model performance and summarization of results for internal review
  • Assist with preparation of research materials, including figures, summaries, and draft text for manuscripts in collaboration with the research team
