About The Position

This position provides hands-on experience in a laboratory setting at university levels, allowing an undergraduate student to develop technical and analytical skills while contributing to meaningful research. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, assisting in the preparation of lab materials, performing basic experiments, collecting, and analyzing data. The research assistant will also document findings, help organize lab supplies and participate in lab meetings to discuss research progress. Specific duties will depend upon the goals of the training program and the intern's qualifications. Duties may include, but are not limited to: analyzing data, performing laboratory experiments, and/or auditing research charts and entering data. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an academic institution as either an undergraduate or graduate student
• Must be in good standing academically
• Intern is expected to take appropriate safety and compliance training as determined by his/her home department and UT Southwestern policy
• No experience required
