The Setty Lab [setty-lab.org] at Fred Hutch is a computational biology lab focused on developing computational tools and methods for analysis of high throughput single-gene genomics data. We work in extensive collaborative partnerships with bench scientists to tackle questions related to cellular differentiation, lineage decisions, regulatory mechanisms, tumorigenesis and emergence of metastasis.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in biology, biochemistry, genetics, bioinformatics or related scientific field.

Responsibilities

  • Design efficient async data pipelines connecting web interfaces to HPC-hosted datasets.
  • Interface with massive single-cell data repositories containing millions of cells and thousands of genes.
