About The Position

Under the direct supervision of a Manager or their designee, the student intern will engage in a learning environment that provides them with theoretical knowledge and practical experience while performing various duties that support the interning department. The internship position may be assigned a specific project that correlates with their course of study, allowing them to work independently in a team environment. The internship position will have an opportunity to gain experience relating to projects that align with the goals and objectives of the interning department and provide valuable enrichment to their course of study. The internship position will support the assigned department by performing a variety of basic and advanced tasks that provides support to the department and practical experience for the student. The internship position will work with various software and systems allowing them to gain experience and provide support to the department. The internship position may shadow experienced employees in various roles gaining hands on experience and training in a variety of different departments. The internship position will attend and participate in various meetings exposing them to collaboration, decision making, planning and other critical business activities. The internship position will learn about the assigned department, experience required for working in similar external positions and gain practical experience. The Interning Department may require the student intern to work on a variety of other tasks that lend itself to their course of study and providing valuable resources and contributions to the department.
