About The Position

Works under general supervision to assist, receive training, and acquire working knowledge of each department's areas of responsibilities. This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information. Requirements

  • Enrolled in an academic institution as either an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Must be in good standing academically
  • Intern is expected to take appropriate safety and compliance training as determined by his/her home department and UT Southwestern policy

Responsibilities

  • Literature review, molecular biology work, cell culture, CRISPR, flow cytometry.
  • Specific duties will depend upon the goals of the training program and the intern's qualifications. Duties may include, but are not limited to: analyzing data, performing laboratory experiments, and/or auditing research charts and entering data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
