About The Position

Join the School of Chemistry and the newly established ARC-funded ITTC Sustainable and Green Economy for Manufacturing (SAGE-M) centre as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. This role focuses on the development of new advanced sustainable and green manufacturing technologies driven by cutting-edge catalysis. You will engage in realizing new, powerful catalytic reactivity to assemble sophisticated molecules efficiently, impacting the way valuable materials of function are made. The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will contribute to developing new patentable and indispensable catalytic methods and materials that will give Australia a cutting-edge in research capacity in academia and industry. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of bespoke training in advanced catalytic technologies and play a lead role in developing the highly-skilled workforce needed to enhance Australia’s commercial capacity to gain a greater share of the global catalysis market. This is an opportunity to pioneer breakthrough catalytic methods, build Australia’s research capability, and train the next generation of catalytic science leaders.

Requirements

  • Post-Doctoral research experience in catalysis.
  • Expertise in developing new advanced sustainable and green manufacturing technologies.
  • Ability to realize new, powerful catalytic reactivity to assemble sophisticated molecules efficiently.
  • Skills in developing patentable and indispensable catalytic methods and materials.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training in advanced catalytic technologies.
  • Ability to lead the development of a highly-skilled workforce.
