The Department of Population Medicine (DPM) at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute is the home of several large, complex, multi-institutional research initiatives using real-world data (RWD) and distributed analytic approaches to support major national public health activities in collaboration with federal and industry funders. Its mission is to improve health care delivery and population health through research and education, in partnership with health plans, delivery systems, and public health agencies. The Research Fellow will perform and manage research projects from their initial development through publication finds in medical journals. They will also be working day-to-day with other faculty members, research scientists, and staff at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. Additionally, the Research Fellow will have an opportunity to participate in other activities, including grant preparation activities (e.g., writing research plans, supporting budget preparation, and submitting IRB applications) and journal review and editorial activities.
