About The Position
The soft matter and microfluidics group at Mayo Clinic, led by Dr. Connie Chang, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to develop innovative microfluidic technologies for molecular diagnostics and biomedical applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microfluidics and/or molecular biology, with an interest in integrating molecular biology workflows into miniaturized, automated microfluidic systems. In particular, we are interested in candidates with experience in drop-based (droplet) microfluidics and the ability to perform or develop molecular biology assays within droplets. The position offers an opportunity to work at the interface of microfluidics, molecular biology, and biomedical diagnostics, developing new approaches for rapid, sensitive, and miniaturized molecular analysis.
Requirements
- Expertise in microfluidics and/or molecular biology.
- Interest in integrating molecular biology workflows into miniaturized, automated microfluidic systems.
- Experience in drop-based (droplet) microfluidics.
- Ability to perform or develop molecular biology assays within droplets.
