About The Position
The Research Farm Summer Assistant will perform various duties related to agricultural research. This role involves hands-on tasks in the field and support in data management and facility maintenance. The position is part-time and is intended for individuals interested in agricultural research.

Responsibilities
- Measuring and flagging of plots
- Changing seed when planting plots
- Assisting with the cutting of alleys between replications of plots
- Taking stand counts (R1 silk/flower counts in some plots)
- Mowing/trimming
- Collecting water samples from water quality plots and wetland sites
- Cleaning of buildings and machinery
- Data entry/paper filing
- Harvesting of summer foliage and small grain plots
