About The Position

The Ohio State University College of Medicine is seeking a Research Faculty member to join the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control within the Department of Internal Medicine. This role involves conducting research, securing funding, publishing findings, and mentoring students, fellows, and junior faculty. The position is open rank/track, meaning it can accommodate various faculty levels within the research track.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in Internal Medicine.
  • Advanced training in cancer, epidemiology, health outcomes and/or cancer prevention/control.
  • MD candidates must hold a current Ohio medical license and be board certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Evidence of success in peer-reviewed research funding, publication, and teaching/mentoring or clinical work, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Embark on a program of research and obtain funding.
  • Prepare manuscripts for publications.
  • Assist students, fellows, and other junior faculty members in the area of research.
  • Perform other duties as required.
