About The Position
The Advanced Technology and Systems Division (ATSD) manages complex projects for government and commercial clients, focusing on creating competitive advantages through innovative technology. The division excels in areas such as radar and electronic warfare, novel imaging technology, robotics, quantum sensing and metrology, marine technology, and applied optics. The Research Engineer will join multi-disciplinary teams to develop state-of-the-art solutions and technologies, contributing to ongoing projects, internal R&D, and new program development through proposal writing and client engagement. Candidates should be resourceful and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- M.S. or PhD level depending on position.
- Engineering degree or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- U.S. Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in multi-disciplinary, collaborative teams.
- Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art solutions and technologies.
- Engage in cutting-edge development efforts in support of on-going projects.
- Support internal R&D efforts.
- Assist with developing new programs through proposal development and client engagement.
- RF systems/hardware (antennas, analog circuits, cascaded system analysis)
- FPGA with RF/signal processing knowledge
- Radar signal processing
- EO/IR signal processing and system design/modeling
