As a Research Engineer with the Mission Applied Science and Technology (MAST) group is hiring a Research and Development Engineer based in Richardson, TX. We apply fundamental technical principles rooted in math, science, and engineering to develop new concepts to extract information from multi-sensor data sources. Capabilities are researched, developed and matured for operational deployment to commercial cloud computing environment. We work in a secure, collaborative, team-oriented environment to develop solutions for the US Government that solve problems important to national security.

Requirements

  • 0+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related Science, obtained by start date.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing or PCB design.
  • Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers (VNAs) digital multimeters (DMMs) and signal generators for circuit characterization, debugging and validation.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
  • Experience with commercial cloud computing, DevSecOps, and High Performance Computing
