About The Position

Eden Hall Farm is seeking a Research, Education, and Outreach Coordinator. This role involves communicating and coordinating with the director and farm manager, managing and cleaning data related to farm research (seeding and harvest, maple, integrated pest management, good agricultural practice, organic), and creating various reports. The coordinator will also update the farm website and newsletter, generate outreach materials, and research grants and educational opportunities. This is a 10-hour per week position. Requirements

  • Current student employee
  • May not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year
  • May not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and coordinate with director and farm manager
  • Clean and manage data gathered on the farm (seeding and harvest, maple, integrated pest management, good agricultural practice, organic)
  • Create annual harvest research reports, sustainability reports, and other requested data reports as needed
  • Update farm website and newsletter
  • Generate outreach materials for semester events and student projects
  • Research grants and educational opportunities at the local, state, and national level
