About The Position
Join East Penn Manufacturing's Research & Development team and gain hands-on experience contributing to the development and evaluation of battery technologies that power critical applications around the world. As a Research & Development Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and scientists on meaningful projects that support the advancement of current and emerging battery chemistries. Requirements
- Passionate about science, engineering, and innovation
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field
Responsibilities
- Assist with building and evaluating lead-acid and other battery chemistries
- Conduct electrochemical and cell performance testing
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data
- Prepare reports and present project findings to engineering teams
- Review and summarize scientific and technical publications
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and manufacturing personnel on project-based initiatives
- Support laboratory, office, and manufacturing-based research activities
