2027 Summer Internship Program - Research & Development Engineering
About The Position
Trex Company, the world’s number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking a Research & Development Engineering Intern to take part in our 2026 Summer Internship program. Research & Development Interns can expect to: Assist engineers with routine tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting; test equipment setup; and product testing and reporting. Projects may include the following: Analyze data from dimensional measurement equipment for profile extrusion. Set up color measurement equipment for use in quality control. Assist with product testing for building code requirements, including internal testing and testing at third-party labs. Assist with first-article inspection of supplied components.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program
- Successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework
- GPA of 3.0 or above
Responsibilities
