About The Position

Apply your engineering expertise to design, develop and launch our next generation intravascular ultrasound catheter while supporting quality, reliability, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Your role involves analyzing engineering requirements and determining optimal design solutions for catheter products with advanced judgment and autonomy under general supervision. You will create and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols to verify and validate engineering designs while ensuring compliance with established processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This includes maintaining accurate documentation of design specifications, test results, and validation activities, as well as overseeing junior team documentation efforts. You will implement design improvements based on testing and evaluation activities to enhance product quality, efficiency, performance, and reliability, and monitor catheter and system performance to proactively identify improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will participate in design reviews, technical discussions, vendor evaluations, and supplier technology assessments for potential medical device integration, and build effective relationships, share knowledge, and influence projects and peer groups within the medical devices engineering function.

Requirements

Responsibilities
